The Boston Celtics kicked off their Eastern Conference semifinal series with a 120-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night. Jayson Tatum led the scoring for the Celtics with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 24 points and Derrick White hit 5-of-10 from three-point range. The Celtics also dominated the rebounding battle, outrebounding the Cavaliers 52-32.
The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland, who scored 26 points and dished out 10 assists. Evan Mobley added 23 points for the Cavaliers.
The Celtics will host the Cavaliers in Game 2 on Thursday night.
