Skys Keep Playoff Hopes Alive with 96-69 Victory

The 26th season of the WNBA is underway, and the Chicago Sky are already making a statement. On April 30, the Sky defeated the Indiana Fever 96-69 in overtime, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

The Sky were led by their "4-headed monster" of Marina Mabrey, Kahleah Copper, Courtney Vandersloot, and Candace Parker. Mabrey led the team in scoring with 21 points, while Copper added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Vandersloot dished out 11 assists, and Parker had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Sky's win was their second in a row, and they now sit at 4-2 on the season. They are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings, but they are just one game behind the fourth-place Washington Mystics.

The Sky will be back in action on Tuesday, May 3, when they host the New York Liberty. The Liberty are 2-4 on the season, but they are coming off a win over the Las Vegas Aces.
